06-22-26: The Birthday Blog (The Sequel)
HI Folks long time no see sorry I've been inactive. I've been supremely art blocked for the past few months but hey: This has given me enough time to watch all of Deep Space 9 and also all of AMC's Interview With the Vampire. So that's been fun!
My 26th birthday is this Thursday! Yaaaaaaaaaay! I was gonna take the day off but my work scheduled a live-to-tape concert show I have to work, which honestly really pissed me off at the time, but now that I've had some time to think about it I feel as though my birthday will probably be better spent dressed up and live-switching a fun concert rather than couchrotting in my pajamas. Besides, I can still couchrot in my pajamas the next day, because I took Friday off instead. Life is grand!
Several of my online friends are gonna be out of town this weekend, so I don't know if we'll manage to throw together a bday call or not, but maybe we can gather some other weekend for celebrations. My parents are a little more focused on my brother right now- he's gonna propose to his girlfriend next month and my mom has invited herself to plan the whole thing on his behalf (poor kid) - but I'm sure she'll buy me a bundt cake or something lol. I asked them for flatware this year which is such a grown up thing to do, yuck. Do you know what I really want? A Switch 2. But gone are the days when I could pull something like THAT for my birthday. I'm just gonna have to save up for that ridiculously priced thing myself. Speaking of ridiculously priced gaming consoles, did you guys see that big ass fucking steam cube? Absurd. Absurd!
Beee whoo you aree for your pride. I feel like this month has really blown by, and I remember I felt the same way last June. So sad! To amend this I propose we be proud all year. #Forever.
Tis the season for another round of ART FIGHT!!! I'm Team Tragedy this year. If anyone wants to attack me, you can find my page here! I'm ok with friendly fire and I try to revenge as many attacks as I can. I've been struggling to do art consistently this year but art fight always gets me fired up so hopefully I go apeshit insane on it next month and get lots of art done. Last year I managed 22 pieces which was a personal best- beating that would be great but my actual goal is 10. That's a piece every three days! Not too shabby!
